Scott and ToriThis couple (pseudonyms to protect their identity) has served as church planters with Christar since 2001. They serve in North India working among an unreached people group called Maithil. Within that region and along the border of India and Nepal, there are about 25 million Maithil people. Sadly, there are only .01% believers among this people group. Their mission is to plant reproducing home-fellowships among the Maithil. They do this through evangelism and discipleship programs, as well as, children’s programs and medical outreach efforts.
