Nursery Coordinator

 

Hometown: I was born and raised in Piscataway, New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1987with my family when my Dad retired. 

Family info:  I met my husband, Eugene, while still living in New Jersey. Upon finishing active duty in the Navy, he relocated to Florida and we were married in 1991. We have 2 amazing children. Megan, our oldest is 21 and starting her senior year at the University of Florida.  She is majoring in Occupational Therapy and wants to specialize in pediatrics. Our son, David, is 18 and will start his freshman year at the University of Florida, as well, majoring in Finance. Go Gators! 

When did you join the Aldersgate staff? I started at Aldersgate in 2005, working in the Preschool as a teacher.  I am currently a Lead teacher in the young 2 year old class.  I started as the Nursery Coordinator in 2014.  I love working both of these positions. 

What did you do before joining Aldersgate? Prior to joining the Aldersgate staff, I was employed by Alberson’s as a Scan coordinator. 

What do you do for fun?  In my spare time I enjoy camping trips with friends, crafting and quality time with family. 

Who has influenced you the most in life/ministry? My parents instilled the importance of family and a strong work ethic.  My brother, Oscar, who has fought a courageous battle with cancer has taught me the importance of having a positive attitude, no matter what circumstance may be presented. Throughout his battle, which is almost over, his mantra has been “Better not bitter”, how awesome is that?
