Aldersgate provides a traditional service and a more contemporary service. You’ll get information about both on this page.
Traditional Service – in main sanctuary
Early Service: 8:00 ~ 9:00 a.m.
Late Morning: 11:00 ~ 12:00 p.m.
For worshipers seeking an early morning expression of faith, Aldersgate 8:00 o’clock service is in the great tradition of the United Methodist Church. The organ leads the congregation in everyone’s favorite hymns such as Holy Holy Holy, and the Church’s One Foundation. Our Sanctuary Choir contributes to the service with festive choral music. Confessions of faith, pastoral prayer, and The Lord’s Prayer are all a part of our expression of gratitude for God’s Love.
Each service is built around the Bible based sermon presented by our Senior Pastor, David Gill. It is not unusual for David to present a sermon series over several weeks to help remind us of God’s presence in our life and how we might grow closer to Him. Come join us and begin your week refreshed in God’s Love.
Contemporary Service – in Family Life Center
9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Aldersgate’s 9:30 worship service is an energy-packed expression of our love for God in an informal contemporary format. Traditional hymns are replaced by praise songs sung to an accompaniment of drums, guitars and synthesizers. Our Praise Band leads the congregational singing in uplifting popular praise songs and testimonials of faith. Holy Communion is offered once a month by invitation to all believers who wish to come forward and receive the bread dipped into the juice representing our Savior’s Body and Blood.
Senior pastor David Gill completes the service by presenting a Bible based sermon revealing God’s Love with real life applications. Come unto the Lord and sing a NEW song!
At Aldersgate we are committed to providing a cross section of Sunday morning Bible study classes for furthering Spiritual growth for Christians of all ages. We hope after sampling from our varied menu you will find a group where you feel at home.
