Hi my name is Jeremiah Garrett and I grew up in Southwest Florida in a little town called Port Charlotte. At eighteen years old I gave my life to Christ and felt called into the ministry. In 2002 I met my lovely wife Natalia and in 2005 we got married and moved to Tulsa Oklahoma, where I began attending Oral Roberts University. I graduated from O.R.U in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Pastoral Christian Ministries. Immediately after graduation I began working at Will Rogers United Methodist Church as the Director of Youth Ministries. Then in 2011 my wife and I moved back to Florida, and I began working as a Youth and Associate Pastor at Christ the Redeemer Church of St. Augustine. On November 11, 2013 our son Daniel was born and he has brought so much joy to our family. My wife and I are passionate about seeing young people give their lives to Christ and becoming mature Disciples. We enjoy exercising, Florida State football, hanging out at the beach and watching movies in our free time. We are very excited to be moving to Seminole, Florida to work with the youth, leaders, and staff at Aldersgate UMC!

We are glad you are interested in Aldersgate.  We would love for you to join us for worship.   Services are each Sunday, at 8:00 and 11:00 for our traditional services and our contemporary service is at 9:30.

In joining us, you will participate in something that will positively impact the rest of your week.

We are created to worship our Lord.  Please take a moment to watch this 3 minute video to get to know us a little better.  If you have any questions, you can call the church office at (727) 391-0218 and they can help you out with anything.

Common Questions:

Where should park?  At Aldersgate we have plenty of parking for everyone.  We have a small parking lot along Starkey Rd that is accessible heading south.  We also have a larger parking lot on 94th Avenue.

What if I have a small child?    Parents with infants or small children are invited to visit and meet our warm and loving nursery attendants before or after each service.  Aldersgate provides a pager system to help you if your child has an urgent need.

What can I do with my Elementary aged children?  Children are always welcome in the services, however if you wish during our 9:30 services we have Kid Zone with our Children’s Minister Connie Carpenter.

Do I have to participate in the Offering?  Visitors, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.  The support of this ministry is the responsibility of those who consider this church their home.  This worship service is our gift to God and to you.
