The motto of the Children's Ministry at Aldersgate United Methodist Church is "Leading Kids to Christ". We take his motto very seriously when planning all of our children's programs.

KidZone: We are taking a break for a few months from KidZone.  In the meantime, we'll have fun and exciting activities planned for children once a month instead of once a week.

Vacation Bible School: Vacation Bible School is held during one week every summer.  This summer VBS took place June 22 through June 27, 2008.  VBS runs from 6-8:30pm each night, and includes Bible stories, games, crafts, music, and snacks.  Children going into Kindergarten in the Fall up to 5th grade are encouraged to come for a week of fun as we discover more about God's love. 

Breakfast in Bethlehem is a morning of games, petting zoo, the story of the birth of Christ and an old fashioned breakfast. This event occurs on a Saturday during the Christmas season.  This year it will be December 13, 2008 at 9:30 am.

The Easter Egg Hunt, is held on the Saturday morning before Easter, this year it was March 22, 2008 at 10 am.  Combines the traditional search for eggs with the story of Jesus' death and ressurrection. Donuts and juice are shared before the kids break into age groups and are let loose on our preschool playgrounds to look for thousands of plastic eggs.

And of course, don't forget - Children's Sunday School is only offered at our 9:30 service each Sunday this summer till August 10 for ages Pre K to 2nd grade only. Bible centered curriculum is used in all classrooms.
