A new study of Jesus’ ministry between His Resurrection and Pentecost, written and taught by Pastor Noah. Jesus’ ministry took on a much different form after His Resurrection. It seems that Jesus had 3 things on the agenda that He had to accomplish during those 50 days! Come hear about these and how they may alter your outlook on the Christian Faith. The class will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 pm from April 19 to May 31. Childcare will be provided.
Financial Peace University (FPU) is here! This life-changing class is taught by Dave Ramsey and coordinated by Matt Hickman at Aldersgate this spring! We will have free child care available as well as dinner before class for a small fee if you are interested. Matt & his wife, Kate, attended FPU in 2009 and paid off $85,000 in debt! We do it because we want you to be successful. This will be the 13th class we have coordinated. People often look at the price of the material and then do not take the class because they feel it is too expensive.
I have coordinated 12 FPU classes and no one who took the class, attended all 9 weeks, and actually put the program in place ever regretted it. Also if the price of the class is “too much” that might be an indicator that you really should come and learn. I look forward to working with you.
FPU will be on Wednesdays at 6:15 pm starting on March 8. If you have any questions, please call the church office or contactMatt Hickman at firstname.lastname@example.org,

Our Growth Group On Prayer gathers to learn and discuss prayer and to deepen our prayer lives. We are currently studying a four part series on the power of prayer. We meet each week on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in Room L-3.

W.O.W. is starting a new study on March 8! About our new study,
1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilken:
Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. Cost of the book is $14. Please contact Beth Anderson at email@example.com or church office to sign up.
